While there’s a general acknowledgement that security is needed, there’s less of a sense of how to go about it, especially among small and midsize companies. Somehow, security must fit within changing development processes without impacting time to market.
IDG Research Services recently polled IT and security decision-makers to gauge the state of their organizations’ security strategies and the challenges they face securing applications. This paper presents the results of that survey and provides direction for how companies can address those challenges and reduce application security risk.
